The event is run by St Giles who are a fantastic local charity. So not only supporting local artists & craftspeople and creating a special Christmas shopping event + 20% of the takings went straight to charity.
It was a special 10 year anniversary for Nichemas and they raised an estimated $25,000 !! Wow.
Emma made some whimsical birdhouses from foraged & reclaimed materials, drawing inspiration from the forest we live in.
Anthony carved some botanical themed candle holders, with hand poured 100% beeswax from our forest beehives and lightly scented from single origin, hand distilled Lemon Scented Gum…yes, also from our forest. 
Yes, we’ve been busy. All these items have been individually made and hand stitched the traditional way. The bags are one off designs & definitely unique.
We use the highest quality full grain leather, either cow or kangaroo and high quality hardware for the buckles & D-rings.

The whole town opened up to embrace the past of this picturesque village with its historic buildings. Together with other traditional craftspeople from leather crafters, farriers, bakers, shingle makers, chair makers & blacksmiths; it was a fantastic weekend for all.
Unique Tasmanian timber serving platters made from salvaged timber that would otherwise have been buried, burnt or forgotten. No two come out the same, it all depends on the timber I find.
I give them some love, a bit of a sand & oil, attach some 4mm thick leather as handles and you’ve got a unique board.
These have the essence of ‘wabi sabi’…perfection in imperfection. I like all of my boards to keep some of their rustic feel to remind the handler that they are a natural product from a living source. This might be in the form of keeping a bark edge or not finally sanding & finishing an edge.
They’re earthy …. primal …. rustic …. solid …. unique.
